The Atwater Digital Literacy Project, an initiative of the Atwater Library and Computer Centre, gets youth and community groups using creative digital technologies (blogging, audio, video, digital photos) to find new ways to talk about the things that are important to them, and to help them build their communities.

We run on a tight budget and many volunteer hours. Here are some ways you can help us out:

• Sponsor a Workshop
• Volunteer your time as a workshop assistant
• Give an in-kind donation of snacks or materials.

Sponsor a Workshop

The project is currently funded by a grant from the Quebec Ministry of Government Services. Unfortunately this is not a long-term funding solution, and so we are looking for new ways to sustain our programming. We're continually trying to raise extra financial support for the program and we'd love your support. Donations are tax deductible and easy.

Volunteer your time

We are always looking for volunteers with expertise in digital media, fund-raising, grant-writing and other things. Visit our volunteering page to find out more.

• equipment! Including digital still and video cameras, audio recording equipment, headphones and mics, and software!
