Westmount High School Animation Workshop 2007 - "The Early Bird" web animation

A rotating cast of characters kept this workshop trucking along for 6 weeks. Phil and his students worked on an animation that made use of Photoshop and Flash-based program called Firestarter to tell the story of a baby bird that gets some surprising help in learning to fly.

The best part of the project? Learning to make a plastic baby fall out of a tree. The worst? Low attendance meant that Phil had his hands full trying to finish the film on time.
